Koncentrat Artistic Group is a longterm, independent, international dance project, started in 2005 by choreographer Rafał Dziemidok and light/space designer Ewa Garniec. Currently, Koncentrat operates in Berlin and in Warsaw making dance, perfomance and visual projects with participation of artists from different fields. Within the Group's scope of interest, the following subject matters are prominent:

 

• storytelling

• language of a story

• character and the lack of it

• physicality and physiology as an object of choreographic research

• choreography as organizational strategy

• performer and its sacrifice

• play between the audience and the performer

• visuality of movement, time and space

 

Koncentrat delivers stage and site-specific work, pieces with amateurs and professional dancers, group and solo performaces, constantly searching for precision in the personal stories told by its creators.

 

Koncentrat's work has been selected to be presented at Polish Dance Platforms (2008 with Rabbit Death and the Riding Contest, 2014 with the project presentation of Peter and the Wolf. Reinterpretation) as well as by Aerowaves network (2011 with Floe).
