DIRTY PINK - reviews:

The study of femininity and personality changes which take place in every human being. Can we be ourselves, live through moments when we laugh and suddenly freeze in horror? Is the performer's transformation only a pose, or maybe performer becomes character? All those problems are touched upon in the newest choreography by Rafal Dziemidok "Dirty Pink". Dziemidok subscribes to the European stream of perceiving dance, researching, amongst other things, the issue how the dance is created and how the performance emmerges, independently of its culture of origin or genre of theatre.

Drama/dance oriented research of Dziemidok takes him to the gfrotesque but is not a cabaret. It's a study of face and character in theatre and in life. We will be taken to the Orient, primitivism and our own thetare and perhaps life... And even though the dancer on stage is hidden behind make-up, "Dirty Pink" will show us our own face with no make-up whatsoever.
